Boaz City School Flips Intervention Pyramid

In 2016, educators at Boaz City School (BCS) in Marshall County, Alabama were dismayed by the growing number of students who needed Tier 3 interventions. To address students’ learning needs, BCS implemented Ready Mathematics, i-Ready Diagnostic, and i-Ready Personalized Instruction, first with students with special needs and English Learners, then with more students every year. By the 2019–2020 school year, all Grades K–8 students were using the new programs.
